Raid Team Policy

Raiding Schedule

Friday: 10:00pm - 1:00am EST

Raid Leader: Beomaire

I. GOALS

1. Short Term Goals

- Define our Raid Culture
- Stabilize our Raid Team
- Normal Mode Bosses (1 or 2 new bosses per week)

2. Long Term Goals
- Fill any holes in our roster
- Add a 2nd Raid Night
- Heroic Mode Bosses

II. EXPECTATIONS

1. Commitment. We need 10-15 Raiders to keep the Team going each week. If you sign up for the Team, we'll be relying on you to log-in on time and be at your keyboard with no unnecessary AFK's throughout the Raid. Please respect the time of the other 9+ members of the Team.

2. Attendance. We are currently on a one-night-per-week schedule. We expect to see you every Friday.  If you can't make a Raid, inform the Raid Leader through a post on the Forums or through in-game message/mail.

3. Unity. We're in this together. Although you will be held to a higher standard during Raids, please remember that the Raid Team while part of the guild does not define the guild. Ashes of Azeroth remains a friendly home to friends and family alike. But come Raid-time, we're all business and our business is killing bosses, stealing their phat loot and clearing content as efficiently as possible.

III. ATTITUDE AND ETIQUETTE

1. Unless specifically asked, please do not add your commentary on a strat or direct people. If you have a suggestion, feel free to whisper a leader, ask in Mumble, or post in our Forums.

2. Keep your e-peen in your pants. We are a Team. Snarky comments about how awesome you are compared to everyone else will not be met well.

3. Stay positive. Yep, we just wiped. It happens. We'll get it next time.

4. No finger pointing. If you have to blame someone, blame Cellestiah. Or Realmii. Either one is acceptable.

5. BOE trash drops are MS>Guild Bank for AH. If you have an issue, or feel that a mistake was made in loot distribution, please take it up privately with your Raid Leader.

IV. GEAR REQUIREMENTS

Raid Leaders may impose an item level minimum before the first Raid of each tier.

All gear that can be gemmed/enchanted must be gemmed/enchanted.

It is expected that you follow the questlines to obtain and upgrade your legendary ring as soon as possible. http://www.wowhead.com/guides/raiding/warlords-of-draenor-legendary-ring-guide

V. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

The best gear in the world isn't going to help if you don't have a solid knowledge of your class mechanics. There are valuable online resources available for all classes and specs at www.icy-veins.com and mmo-champion.com. Use them.

VI. BE PREPARED

1. Be online, at the zone-in and ready for invites at 9:50pm. First pull is at 10:10pm.

2. Consumables are your friend. Stock up on pots and flasks.

3. Repair before you zone in.

4. If you've received recent upgrades, make sure they're properly gemmed and enchanted.

5. Obtain your weekly bonus roll currency.

6. We expect all Raiders to read strategies and watch videos of new boss encounters. https://www.youtube.com/user/FatbossTV FTW!

VII. REQUIRED ADDONS/VOICE COMMUNICATION

The only addon required for Raiding is Deadly Boss Mods (or BigWigs).

GTFO is highly recommended.

These addons are readily available for download from www.curse.com.

Mumble is required to Raid. You are not required to speak, but are required to listen.

Download Mumble at http://www.mumble.com/mumble-download.php

VIII. MAINS, ALTS & SWAPPING MAINS

Raiders will be expected to stick to one Main per expansion. This guild is full of altoholics. We love alts. Please, have as many alts as your heart desires. However, alts will generally not welcome to the Raid.

There may be an occasion where the Team is lacking a specific class/role (we often have too many melee/not enough ranged or healers). An alt may be invited at the Raid Leader's discretion if the alt is appropriately geared for that level of content and the player has sufficient knowledge of that class' mechanics to successfully fill the role.

The Raid Leader will ask you directly to bring an alt if needed. Please do not ask to bring an alt to a Raid.

If you wish to change your main after you begin Raiding with the Team, that new toon will need to earn a Raiding spot, and only if there is a spot available for your class/role.
